Altered Book

I'm sorry it's been so long since I last posted, I've had so much going on with family, working, moving and taking care of my grandpa. I have been exhausted, depressed or both. Well, I'm back now and my goal is to post something every week. I have a couple of projects I've been working on and here is the first one........... Family Altered Book......... I had so much fun doing this. I'm wanting to hurry and work on another one. I hope you like it too! I took a Bo Bunny Family Chipboard Book and altered it with ribbon, scrapbook paper, pictures and different embellishments. The pictures that I used were pictures that were not the best but I didn't want to throw them away either. This is a good way to spruce up those pictures that are not the best, but not the worst either. Hello and Merry Christmas to all! I'm sorry I haven't updated my blog in a while. It's been crazy around here and I'm just getting caught up enough to write something. This will be my last post until after the New Year. I want to thank you all for visiting my blog and for all of your support the past few months, while I was trying to figure this blog thing out. Of course I had help. Thanks Bonnie and Marie! Most of all, I want to wish everyone a Blessed Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!

Boy do I feel like a dummy! I just tried to post the wrong card for the Justrite challenge. I'll try it again!

Merry little Christmas...............

I made a card today for the Justrite challenge. It has to be any type of celebration card, Holiday, Birthday, New Year's, and of course I had to choose Christmas! At least these challenges are helping me get my Christmas cards done. So, I'm okay with that! I hope you like it!

PAWWS Weekend............

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago about a four day weekend. Well, let me share a little of it with you. I'm a member of an online Yahoo group called PerfectFriends. We met a couple of weeks ago in Richfield Ohio. We had a blast! We stamped, shopped, laughed,played, and shopped some more! I took several pictures and hopefully I'll be able to upload them. We played some games that were funny. Some of the ladies tried to teach us how to dance. But for the most part, we worked on our Christmas cards. There are some very talented ladies in this group. I'm proud to say I'm a part of it. Oh yeah! by the way! Now this was very funny!!!! We all loved this one! Gina had it going on! She won! She was the first to get all of her ping pong balls out of the tissue box. You Go Girl!!!!!

I'm having so much fun! I've been working in my studio all day. I needed to get a lot done because It's back to work tonight! Here is one more card that I put together for a couple of challenges.

Fall is Beautiful

I entered a challenge for Justrite the other day, and I did something wrong and I tried posting it again, thinking it didn't go through. Well, anyway to make a long story short, I messed it up somehow. So, I'm entering another card for the challenge. Here we go....................
