Hi everyone! I think I'm going to try something new. Every fourth Wednesday I am going to post a work shop.
I told you I wasn't giving up! I'm going to keep trying, then maybe I'll find something you're interested in. I want to say it's because of the summer and every body is busy with family, or maybe I just don't have enough traffic yet. I'm meeting new people and having fun, and that's what it's all about. So, I'm gonna keep going!I'm going to try some work shops and maybe a couple of other things that are on the back burner. We will see.
This work shop today is a twist on the star book. Hang on tight! There are a lot of instructions. Below is what your mini scrapbook will look like.
Instructions for 6 x 6 mini scrapbook
Materials needed
1.) score pal
2.) 12 inch paper cutter
3.) scissors
4.) glue stick
5.) 6 sheets12 x 12 heavy weight scrapbook paper
6.) embellishments
1.) score 6 in. centers so you will have 4- 6 in. squares.
2.) you also need to score from corner to corner to make the hills and Vallie's you will need.
3.) cut one of your 6 in. squares up to the center point, or one of your valley folds, what ever you decide, will give you a different look. I have both in my book.
4.) Cut out one of your corner triangles and leave a 1/2 in tab on the other triangle that you need to cut.
5.) Cut corners off of tabs.
6.) If instructions do not sound clear, maybe this picture will show what I am trying to say?
7.) Bring the corner triangles to the tabs and glue. You will see that it will make a pocket for a picture or a tag, or you can cut that little triangle off and not have a pocket.
8.) Then you fold each separately and glue back to front on all until you have a book. Then you add your pictures and embellish as you wish.
I hope these instructions are clear for you? In the meantime I will try and find the website with better instructions. Just remember, have fun!
Thank you all for stopping by. I hope you will try this and tell me what you think. It really is fun and easy. I just made it sound complicated. LOL!
Hugs to all! Brenda
