Hello everyone, I know it's been a few days since my last post, but I have really been busy. I have decided to post once a week for a few weeks, because we've bought some land and we are clearing it.We are going to build a small cottage and not have a lot of overhead so I can be an Independent Arts and Crafts Professional full-time. WooHoo! I'm so excited!
Now, on to what you really are here for. My post today is my Smash Book. I decided to do a Smash Book because of everything I'm trying to remember. Every name, telephone number, all of my passwords, all of the challenges I've entered, Challenges that I've won, in other words everything I need at my computer desk.
I really had fun putting this together. I hope you like it too? Most of all I want it to inspire you to make one too!
Thank you for stopping by. Hugs Brenda
This is a card making, scrapbooking, paper crafting site. Doing what I love and sharing it with you!

Springtime Blossoms
It's Thursday and another week has come and gone since my last post. I have been enjoying this beautiful weather we've been having. The flowers are so pretty. The birds are singing a brand new song. They are thankful for another day. I also am thankful for another day of God's beauty.
Today I wanted to make a card that reflects my surroundings of the beauty and love that I feel and see.
I had the house all to myself, so I sat outside and had my coffee. I was thinking back when I was a child and how simple things were. My grandparents raised me in a small town just outside of Savannah Georgia. We didn't have much, but we had love and that's all that counts.
I guess the reason I shared this with you is, I want you to feel the love and see the beauty through this handmade card. This is truly a card made from my emotions. Thank you for letting me spill my guts a little. Lol! I hope this inspires you to think back to a beautiful time in your life. Hugs Brenda

Another Recycled Greeting
Hello everyone! Today I have another recycled greeting for you.
As I mentioned before, my aunt gave me a stack of bought greeting cards. I didn't want to throw them away, so I have come up with a series of cards that I will share with you on recycled greeting cards.
This particular card today is a birthday card using four of the same design greeting card. What I have done is, cut out different parts of the card and made it a layered 3D card. I also used my cuttlebug and an embossing folder from Stampin-Up for a background layer. I then stamped happy birthday onto white card stock and layered it onto some of the blue greeting card. I also used pop dots to attach it to the card so it wouldn't be flat on the base of the card. There are lots of layers, but very simple to do.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope this will inspire you to do some recycling too! Hugs Brenda

Winner of the Blog Candy....................
First of all I want to wish everyone a very Happy Easter. I hope you all were able to spend time with family and friends. Most of all, I hope we set aside some time to focus on the true meaning of Easter.
Another thing, I want to thank everyone that participated in my very first Blog Candy Giveaway.I have some new followers, so I want to welcome you to my blog. I hope in some way it may be an inspiration to you.
I want to tell you how I picked the winner. I wanted to use the number generator, but that wasn't possible. I was going to give you all a number as you followed and left a comment, but some comments came in on through twitter and on another post. What I did was, I put all your names in a bowl and I asked my husband to draw out a name. The name that he drew was.........................Pau http://hechoamanoyconcarino.blogspot.com/ you have until April 22,2012 to claim your Blog Candy. Please e-mail me brenda_frame@yahoo.com with your full name, e-mail and your mailing address.

Do I Smell.....................Jellybeans?
I know we all know the true meaning of Easter, but sometimes it's fun to bring out the bunnies and the candy for the children's sake. We all remember the days in school, when it was exciting to come in class and see that the Easter Bunny had left us some goodies. Then we would finish our class work and have an Easter Egg Hunt. Those were the days!
This Handmade Easter Card reminds me of those days in grammar school, when it was exciting to pretend and the teacher would make it so believable too!
I would like for this card to take us all back to a place and time of just fun!
Hopefully I'll find some challenges for this adorable Easter card, but if not, that's okay because I enjoyed making it. It took me back to a place and time in my life when there were no worries. Just fun!
Thank you for stopping by! Hugs Brenda

Time's Almost Up!
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you had a great week and weekend?
I had a chance to see some old friends I haven't seen in about twenty- five years. We had a good time just talking and catching up.
It's April 2 and if you haven't become a follower and left a comment, you still have a few hours to get your name in the pot,for a chance to win the Blog Candy. I will be announcing the winner on Easter Sunday.
Okay, now I want to share this card I made, using a few tools. This handmade card was a very easy card to put together, so I think some of you will like it. The recipe for this card is as follows:
5 1/2 X 4 1/4 Card Base in Kraft Card stock
Square Lace Corner Punch
5 X 4 White Card stock
4 3/4 X 3 3/4 Yellow Card stock
Large Dot Cuttlebug Folder ( for the yellow card stock )
Cuttlebug Machine
Black Ribbon
Spellbinders Nestabilities
Flower Rubber Stamp
The flower image is stamp in black onto a piece of white card stock that has been spritzed with water and then colored randomly with twinkling H2O's. Let this dry before you stamp your image. Color the image lightly with gel pens. It's all layered together and makes a very nice card. There you go, it's all done! I hope my directions have been clear enough? If you have any questions, just send me an e-mail.
Don't forget! You have until midnight tonight to become a follower and leave a comment for a chance to win the blog candy. Good Luck! Hugs Brenda
